Aquagenic wrinkling of the palms (AWP) is a rare condition characterized by pale papules and plaques on the palmar skin, as well as significant wrinkling and swelling after contact with water. Young women are the most typically affected, and there has been speculation about a link between AWP and cystic fibrosis (CF). We report two non-CF cases of AWP for which we used two unique imaging techniques: high-resolution optical coherence tomography and reflectance confocal microscopy.
